Overview

Lint is a technology platform that allows Nigerians to invest in publicly traded stock assets and bonds. Lint aims to create a platform where Nigerians can trade stocks around the world seamlessly.

The Challenge

Users find it hard to invest in stocks due to information overload and complex presentation of Information on the app.

The Goal

Research and help users simplify all tasks needed to make an investment.

Research

To understand the problem and the users experience better, I carried out Primary research and surveys.

I discovered some challenges that 70% of users were facing which are:

  • Long time to Invest.
  • Not been able to access recent transactions easily.
  • Complex graph
  • Less options to fund account.

Solution

From ther user research insights i came up with the solutions:

  • Plain and easy to understand english will be used
  • Recent transaction history will be easily accessible.
  • Graphs are represented with text.
  • Users will be given the option to fund their wallet via bank transfer or their Debit cards.

Results

With the design users will be able to access recent transactions easily as it is displayed in a section of the home page. Users now have several options to fund their account.

Take Away

UX research is critical at every stage of the design process. I learnt alot from this project and had a great time working on it.
